I moved here as a teenager in the early 90’s and Ketchikan has been home ever since. In the past I have had the privilege of working with youth and young adults, including people who experience developmental disabilities. I currently work as a dispatcher for the Alaska Marine Highway System. I am blessed to be married to the amazing and talented Arlene Corrao! We recently bought a house, and we’re settling into domestic bliss with our cat and dog.
We should not make it difficult for those who are turning to God. - Acts 15:19
Peter Epler
Pastor
Peter has been in ministry for 16 years and counts it a blessing to have served nearly 10 of those years here - in this amazing community! In his spare time he loves to explore nature and participate in local theater! His wife, Shelly, is involved in the community band program and enjoys indoor activities away from bugs. Two kids keep the house full of energy.
Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! - Psalm 46:10

I understand why Jesus had to get up early to be alone and pray - the world can scream so loud that it's hard to hear his voice. Prayer is the start of a new day and new with Him for me. Truly believing that He hears me, I know He will answer me with mercy and His perfect timing. All Glory belongs to Jesus!
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28

Originally from Southern California, I moved to Ketchikan in 2015 and immediately started attending KTNNAZ as I was able to visit while on vacation here in 2013 and just loved how welcoming the church was.
Serve wholeheartedly as if you were serving the Lord, not people. - Eph. 6:7
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. - Eph. 6:11
And pray in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. - Eph. 6:18

I’m a “single again”, senior adult woman who has been a believer for 54+ years. I was born in New York, grew up in Virginia, went to college in Mississippi and California and raised my 3 daughters in California and Montana. I’ve been in Ketchikan now for 10 years living as part of a multigenerational home with my son-in-law (Pastor Peter) and my eldest daughter Shelly and my 2 grandchildren Addie and Finley. I retired last year from Safeway and am working on finishing my degree at University of Alaska and starting a “second career” as a substitute teacher and librarian for K-12. I love music, the arts, reading, and of course my church family.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. - James 1:17

Katie came to Ketchikan after high school and after two years made Alaska her forever home by marrying a fisherman. She and Jim now have three awesome kids, Grace (16), Reuben (12) and Ian (9) to fish with. She is the Business Manager for the Ketchikan School District, and loves coffee, Alaska politics, and number crunching. Her life path is 110% a work of God's providence and lovingkindness.
