KetchikanNaz is part of a local community and we desire to love and serve our city both in tangible ways (food drives, etc) and intangible ways (prayer and encouragement).   We partner with local organizations to help make this community better, safer, and warmer!  These organizations fill a great need in our town and we collect tangible items, and/or offerings at different times in the year to support what they do for the people who live in Ketchikan!  Read about them, and some of the ways we have worked with them...then keep your ears open for the next time we talk about giving locally!  We can always use more hands on deck!

We also host harvest parties in the fall, Vacation Bible School in the summer and other seasonal events as we are able! We simply want to bless you all with something fun, and family friendly and free.

WISH stand for Women In Safe Homes and it is our regional women's shelter for women who are fleeing from abusive and dangerous situations.  WISH serves more than just the city of Ketchikan - serving Metlakatla, and Prince of Whales island too!  They do so much for families in time of need: offering safe refuge, education, counseling services and more.

Love In Action

Love In Action is a city wide ministry that gives assistance to those who need help with housing costs, utilities, food, diapers and other tangible needs.  We partner with Love Inc. both financially and personally as we believe service isn't just cutting a check but rather getting into the lives of those we are serving. Many of the services provided by Love In Action are door-to-door...meaning volunteers personally go to the sick, and homebound.
